Want to use your own cleaning equipment? Due to our unlimited design revisions policy this means you don’t have to compromise on the look and feel of creating your boards. Our Design Team is on hand to create perfect shadows from your equipment. We have created hundreds of Shadow Boards and Cleaning Stations so we know what works in the working environment. We understand the layout of equipment and the importance of functionality.
Custom means exactly that. We supply quality colour-coded 5S tool clips from the top manufacturers. We can provide various styles, sizes and colours and also provide food grade clips to attach the most common cleaning equipment including squeegees, buckets, shovels, dustpans, brooms and wet floor signs

Heavy-duty and industrial-grade robust cleaning materials from Vikan® are designed for environments where hygiene and efficiency are essential to the business itself. These colour-coded cleaning materials are manufactured for durability with solid polypropylene blocks and polyester or PET bristles set with stainless steel staples. Most are available with block and bristle in total colour hence the highest degree of traceability possible for today’s stringent HACCP environments.
Colour coding cleaning equipment is a smart, straightforward system designed to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. By assigning different colours to cleaning tools for specific areas or tasks, it significantly reduces the risk of cross-contamination.
An example of this would be using green tools for food preparation areas and blue for other public areas.
Colour coded cleaning supplies can include mops, floor squeegees, cleaning buckets, dust pans and brushes, disposable cloths, and anything else you use to clean.
The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICs) has a standard national colour coding chart:
Red for toilets and washrooms
Green for general food and bar use
Yellow for clinical or medical settings
Blue for other areas, like hallways
You can also choose to create your own bespoke colour coding system to fit the unique needs of your business, with the exception of organisations in the health care industry, which are required to use the colour coded cleaning guidelines outlined by the NHS.
Whether you create your own colour coded cleaning system or use the standard, most important is to make sure all your staff are kept informed of your colour code—you’ll want to keep it somewhere accessible, easy for everyone to see and refer back to after they’ve received their initial training on it.

Using a colour code system helps you to comply with health and safety regulations, especially the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
